What
is the Commission Structure?
We
pay a commission of 15% on each purchase by your direct customer,
(excluding applicable sales tax and shipping and handling charges.)
Example: A visitor to your page clicks on Make-UpUSA.com banner,
visits Make-UpUSA.com, and buys two beauty products at $50 each.
The sale is $100 (before sales tax, shipping and handling charges);
your commission on this transaction is $15.00..
Make-UpUSA.com
also pays a 5% commission on your second tier. In the above
example you would earn $5.00 if the sale was made through the
person who had signed up to be an affiliate from your site.
How
much can I earn?
We
can't predict how much you will earn in commissions from the
Make-UpUSA.com Affiliate Program. Much of how much you earn
will be up to you. However, we certainly believe that you'll
earn more if you customize some text links that lead directly
to the Make-UpUSA.com brand name product pages that correspond
to your web site's subject. For example, if you have a web page
about "How to reduce wrinkles and fine lines around the eye
area" you should provide a link directly to the Make-UpUSA.com
Eye Wrinkle Cream page.
When
do I get paid?
Make-UpUSA.com
pays its affiliates monthly. We offer a 14-day return policy.
We are also conscientious about the potential fraud and abuses
of the Make-UpUSA.com Affiliate Program. It often takes 30 to
45 days before consumers discover and report unauthorized charges
on their credit cards, or report "lost" or "damaged" shipments.
For these reasons, our contract provides that we do not need
to send commission payments until 60 days after the end of each
month in which an order has been shipped. For example, all commission
checks for January sales will be sent no later than March 30.
We will not write a check to any site until the site earns at
least $25 in commissions.
Can
I start earning commissions today?
Yes,
most sites will be automatically approved. However, if your
site contains questionable content as described in our affiliate agreement,
then you should wait to begin making links. Your site will be
visited within three days of your affiliation. If we feel your
site is not up to our standards, your affiliation will be terminated.
Do
I earn commissions on my own purchases?
Yes.
When you buy products from Make-UpUSA.com, you can earn the
same commission on your own cash or credit-card purchase.
What
about product returns?
If
a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges
are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account
will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.
(If a product is returned in exchange for new merchandise, or
if goods are lost or damaged and we ship replacement goods to
the customer, your commissions will not be affected.)
Does
it cost me anything to become an affiliate?
No,
it's FREE!. You can get started by reading and accepting the
Make-UpUSA.com Affiliate Program Agreement.
How
does the system work?
You
will have access to an online password protected reporting system
that will provide you detailed statistics for your site.
Commission
is earned when a sale from a visitor you sent to Make-UpUSA.com
is shipped. We generate the commission statements with a statement
of the fees due to you, and then we send you your commission
checks. Reports are online.
How
do I sign up?

Can
I use images from Make-UpUSA.com on my site?
Make-UpUSA.com
has been granted permission to utilize certain images in Make-UpUSA.com
merchandising and marketing endeavors. Certain images may not
be used under any circumstances. As an affiliate site, we will
make available to you banner advertisements and the opportunity
to create your own customized "beauty salon" using
images from our site. If there is an image you would like to
use that is not available on our marketing page, then call us
or e-mail us and we will work with you to make a merchandise
link available that complements your site. The images must be
used in the context of selling cosmetics, make-up, nail care
and/or skin care systems through Make-UpUSA.com. You are not
authorized to use the images from our site for any other reason
than to sell products through Make-UpUSA.com.
What
about "Adult" sites?
Adult
sites will not be able to put any of our products, logos, manufacturer's
name, or their logos, trademarks or service marks on their site.
We have a generic banner page that can be linked to the home
page of Make-UpUSA.com. Adult sites may only link the generic
banners.
What
else should I know?
We
are confident that you and your customers will love our products.
You may find that you would like to place our products in local
specialty shops, gift stores and beauty salons or you may enjoy
doing home parties. You can also purchase our products wholesale
as well as being our affiliate on the Internet. Should you want
to purchase our products wholesale, there is a minimum wholesale
opening order of $250.00 and reorders of $100.00. You will have
to supply us with a copy of your resale tax license which can
