One of the first things you notice when meeting a beautiful woman is the impression created by her eyes. Eyelashes adorned with mascara contribute considerably to a sophosticated look. Mascara is a preparation which has not been known for long. It first appeared on the market shortly after World War II. Mascara was taken up on a brush with the aid of a small amount of saliva. It was then applied to the eyelashes. Much later the well-known sleeve form appeared and has become a great success all over the world. Unfortunately shortcomings in the quality are still freguently encountered so that the products often do not meet even the minimun of demands.
