Every bride wants
to look radiant on her special day. From flawless skin, to eyes
that shine...
If you want to look your best for
your wedding day, plan ahead. Start on your skincare program months
before your wedding, get facials regularly, practice with different
makeup colors prior to your big day.
Skincare
If you do not get facials regularly,
do not get one within two weeks of your wedding. Facials deeply
cleanse the skin, bringing impurities to the surface and sometimes
this will result in an unsightly pimple or two on your wedding
day.
If you do not typically use a face
mask, then do not use one right before your wedding day as they
too can cause break outs due to impurities in your pores coming
to the surface.
Do not get a waxing just prior
to your wedding day as this can cause reddness in the waxed area.
Waxing should be done at least 1 week before the wedding. You
do not want to apply a ton of concealer to hide any red marks
if you do not need to.
Start a skincare routine long before
your wedding day. When your skin is soft and smooth your makeup
will stay on longer and you will glow.
Makeup
After applying your foundation,
set it with loose powder. If it is a warm day, apply loose powder
prior to and after foundation. This will keep the foundation adhering
to your skin longer. Apply the powder to the neck area as well
and use concealer where needed.
Powder eyeshadow will last longer
than a cream eyeshadow and is less likely to crease. Practice
curling your eyelashes prior to your wedding day. Curled eyelashes
make the eyes look wide awake. Apply mascara immediately before
and after curling.
If you are not use to wearing false
eyelashes, your wedding day is not the time to start as you will
feel like there is a foreign object in and around your eyes. You
do not want to be a blinking bride!
